- Trump is trying to silence any media that are ever critical of him. His ego can't tolerate criticism. He believes some of the largest and oldest news agencies, NBC and ABC, should lose their license. Like many of his threats, Trump doesn't know how to get the outcome he wants, but he hopes some of his followers will take forceful action to provide Trump what he wants, even if they must do so with illegal means. We all already know Trump will pardon any crime committed if it was done to help him.
