- Another first for the Trump Administration. They are creating propaganda to blame the Democrats for the government shutdown instead of talking directly to the Democrats. Trump and his administrators are terrible at negotiate; if the other party doesn't back down or surrender to their bullying they don't know how to deal with the other party, except to attempt to punish the other party more. Using negotiation to find a solution tolerable to both sides is never considered.
